Farmer's Bazaar (Farmer's Market) is one of the most farmers friendly direct marketing systems in the country. The Government of Andhra Pradesh has set up Farmers' Bazaars for five years with the objective of benefiting the farmers by supplying the commodities, especially vegetables, and the middlemen. In local markets, it is generally accepted that bazaars stabilize vegetable prices, and consumers get them at cheaper prices, at a minimum of Rs 2 or Rs 3 per kg, and the quality of vegetables is also satisfactory. Rice, Kirana, and other common items are also available, Time: 6:00 am to 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, closed Thursday.
