YANAM is the town that is located at a distance of 30km from Kakinada and 62km from Rajahmundry. It is one of the Indian union territories of Pondicherry and is a former French colony that became a part of the Indian republic in 1954. It is a place rich in history, customs and a combination of French and Telugu culture. Here humidity is a high and hot climate in the summer season. It is covered with full of coconut trees. Yanam has many attractions and beautiful sites seeing places like yanam beach, Eiffel tower, shivalayam, church, mosque, famous venkanna babu temple, park, etc.

The specialty of the venkanna babu temple is unique because the Swamy statue is having big mustaches. It was built by the kings of Rajahmundry in the 15th century. Yanam beach is a beautiful place to enjoy having cool breezes, fresh air that makes people get out from stress and a road along the beach called ferry road has a grand entrance with a massive idol of two elephants around a Shiva linga. Here there is a ship model called Nagoor Meera sahib mandir at ferry road and also has the facility to take a ride in mangrove forests on Godavari river. Grand Mosque was built during French rule and church named St Ann’s Catholic Church dedicated to mother Mary. Christmas festivals are held very grandly and many people visit to see the beauty of the church. The government of Pondicherry built a wonderful monument Eiffel tower by investing a budget of 30 crores to attract tourists. The sponsors for this project are reliance industries limited and words are not enough to describe the beauty of that tower. The tower has a big and spacious conference hall can hold 50guests and accommodate around 160 people, circular-shaped delicious restaurant, and also provide a wide-ranging view of Bay of Bengal. They also take safety precautions at the entry side and inside the tower for visitors and tourists.
